On a bench or hillside lot we plank and chock on grade so the container sits level and protects your driveway. No charge, and you do not have to ask.
Fill it, we collect
Load level with the rim. Call when you are done, or before the seven days are up if the job runs long. Every load leaves tarped.
Why customers stay
Two things we do differently
Every load leaves covered - and that matters more than it used to. Utah's secured-load law requires a completely covered load from your driveway to the landfill, and since January 2026 the Salt Lake Valley Landfill charges an extra fee equal to the disposal price for any uncovered load. We tarp every haul as standard, at no separate charge, so that penalty never reaches your invoice.
Separating your waste genuinely lowers the bill. The county landfill charges by material - clean, dry soil is $12 a ton, but a mixed or wet load is $36. On a job producing both building debris and clean fill or yard waste, we tell you before the truck comes out and help you split it, rather than quietly charging the mixed rate.

Can you place a container on a steep bench or hillside driveway?
Almost certainly - it is most of what we do here. We plank and chock on grade so the box sits level and does not shift, and our driver picks the placement that works for both the slope and the truck. Send a photo from the street when you book and we will confirm the approach before dispatch.
Do I have to cover the load?
No - we tarp every container we haul. Utah's secured-load law requires a covered load, and since January 2026 the Salt Lake Valley Landfill charges an extra fee equal to the disposal price for an uncovered one. It is built into every haul at no separate charge.
Does separating my waste really save money?
