Roll-off services across Cottonwood Heights and the valley

Whatever the project, a container is only useful if it is the right size, it sits level on your lot, and it turns up when you were told it would.

Container sizes

Five sizes, and honest advice on which you need

The most requested size is the 20 yard. The size we most often recommend instead is the 15.

Compare every size side by side

How it works

Four steps, no complications

  1. Call and describe the job

Tell us the project, roughly when the house was built, what is coming out and when you need it. Ninety seconds and we will size it correctly.

  2. Get one flat rate

Delivery, seven days, collection, disposal, a tonnage allowance and tarping in a single number, with the overage rate stated up front.

  3. We deliver and set it level

On a bench or hillside lot we plank and chock on grade so the container sits level and protects your driveway. No charge, and you do not have to ask.

  4. Fill it, we collect

Load level with the rim. Call when you are done, or before the seven days are up if the job runs long. Every load leaves tarped.

Why customers stay

Two things we do differently

Every load leaves covered - and that matters more than it used to. Utah's secured-load law requires a completely covered load from your driveway to the landfill, and since January 2026 the Salt Lake Valley Landfill charges an extra fee equal to the disposal price for any uncovered load. We tarp every haul as standard, at no separate charge, so that penalty never reaches your invoice.

Separating your waste genuinely lowers the bill. The county landfill charges by material - clean, dry soil is $12 a ton, but a mixed or wet load is $36. On a job producing both building debris and clean fill or yard waste, we tell you before the truck comes out and help you split it, rather than quietly charging the mixed rate.

What customers say

Homeowners and builders across Salt Lake County

Comments passed to our office by customers across Cottonwood Heights and the east bench of the Salt Lake Valley.

★★★★★

Brett warned me up front that every load has to be tarped now or the landfill doubles the fee. He handled all of that - showed up, covered it, gone. First hauler who actually knew the new rule.

★★★★★

We had wet soil mixed in with the demo and they told me that bumps it to the mixed-trash rate, triple the clean dirt price. Let it dry and split it, saved a real amount. Nobody else mentioned it.

★★★★★

Our driveway is on a steep bench lot and I figured no truck would manage it. Tyson planked it, set the box perfectly, no marks on the concrete. These guys know the east-bench streets.

Questions & Answers

Dumpster rental in Cottonwood Heights: common questions

How much does it cost to rent a dumpster in Cottonwood Heights, UT?

Every quote is one flat rate covering delivery, a seven-day rental, collection, disposal, a tonnage allowance and tarping to meet the secured-load law. The number depends on the size and what is going in it, so call with the details and you will get a real figure along with the per-ton overage rate in the same conversation.

What size dumpster do I need?

It depends far more on the material than the volume. Dense debris such as plaster, tile and masonry reaches a weight limit before it fills the container, so a smaller box filled properly is usually cheaper. Bulky light material such as furniture, framing and packaging suits the larger sizes. Tell us the project and roughly when the house was built.

Can you place a container on a steep bench or hillside driveway?

Almost certainly - it is most of what we do here. We plank and chock on grade so the box sits level and does not shift, and our driver picks the placement that works for both the slope and the truck. Send a photo from the street when you book and we will confirm the approach before dispatch.

Do I have to cover the load?

No - we tarp every container we haul. Utah's secured-load law requires a covered load, and since January 2026 the Salt Lake Valley Landfill charges an extra fee equal to the disposal price for an uncovered one. It is built into every haul at no separate charge.

Does separating my waste really save money?

Yes. The county landfill charges by material - clean, dry soil at $12 per ton against $36 for a mixed or wet load. Keeping soil, clean masonry and green waste separate lowers your disposal cost, and we will help you split it. Clean green waste can also go to a free local drop-off.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Cottonwood Heights?

Not on your own driveway or private property. If the container has to sit on a public street or right-of-way, that needs approval from Cottonwood Heights City. The surrounding valley cities each run their own process.

Which areas do you serve?

Cottonwood Heights and the east bench, Holladay, Millcreek and Olympus Cove, Sandy, Draper, Midvale, Murray, White City, Granite, West Jordan, West Valley City, South Salt Lake and the nearest Salt Lake City neighborhoods. Call and we will confirm we reach your street.

How quickly can you deliver?

Two to three business days for a guaranteed slot, and same-day is often possible if a run is already heading your way. After a big Wasatch storm demand spikes, so call early if you are clearing storm debris.
