Roll-off containers in Sandy Hills

The east-bench neighborhoods of Sandy - the hills climbing toward Little Cottonwood Canyon - are some of the most scenic and most challenging lots we serve. Large custom homes on steep, view-oriented lots, close to the canyon mouth, with the access complications that come with genuinely mountainous terrain.

What makes Sandy Hills different

This is steep-lot placement at its most demanding, and it is exactly the kind of terrain we are set up for. Driveways here climb, turnarounds are tight, and a loaded container truck needs a driver who knows how to place on grade without marking a custom driveway or getting stuck. We plank, chock and take the time to set it right. Renovation and custom-home work here can produce both dense demolition debris and clean fill, which we keep separate to route each at the right rate. And every load is tarped, as the secured-load law requires and the winding canyon-approach roads make simple common sense.

Landmarks and areas we cover

Getting to you: Sandy Hills is the east-bench neighborhoods of Sandy near the canyon, about 5 miles from our yard, south-east on Wasatch Boulevard and 9400 South toward the bench. There is no distance surcharge — the flat rate is quoted before we come out.

Questions & Answers

Dumpster rental in Sandy Hills: common questions

My driveway is very steep - can you still deliver?

Almost certainly. Steep bench and canyon-mouth lots are our specialty. We plank and chock on grade, and our driver will place the container so it sits level and does not shift. A street photo lets us plan the approach before we come.

Will the container mark a custom driveway?

Not with proper cribbing, which we place on every delivery at no charge. On decorative or newer concrete we take extra care with the planking and will suggest an alternative spot if there is any doubt.

Do the canyon-approach roads affect anything?

Mainly they make tarping non-negotiable, which we do on every load anyway. Utah's secured-load law requires a covered load the whole way, and the winding bench roads make it plain good sense.
